A leisurely course along the scenic side paths of the valley.
- The 21 bends of the Alpe d'Huez (41 km)
Return by Villard Reculas. This climb is well known amongst
Tour cyclists.
- Les grands cols (160 km)
For the confirmed cyclist. Col de la Croix de Fer, Télégraphe,
Galibier, Lautaret. In the cols experience the incredible panoramique
views, the summits of l'Oisans and the Alpes.

- The Mountain Biking Events 2008
- 08/06 : La Vél'Eau d'Olle - 7th edition: VTT curses, 6 races from 10 to 55 km, events,
tombola, barbecue, drinks…
- from 7 to 13/07 : La Mégavalanche : departure from the Pic Blanc (3300 m), to Allemont 2500 m lower.

A leisurely walk or a daily trek, a vast network
of marked paths crossing the Belledonne and Grande Rousses. These
paths will allow you to discover the local heritage, Flora and the
Alpine wildlife.
Available Treks :
- Lake of Belledonne (2169m)
Depart from Allemont (730 m) or Coteyssard (1310 m). A beautiful
panorma from the impressive Grandes Rousses. Blueberries can
be found close to the Cabane du Chazeau.
- Lake and Pass of the Coche (1990m)
Depart from the Allemont river 1270 m Gr 549. Once the only
passage way to Gresivaudan. You can find numberous Rhododendrons
after the torrent des Combes.
- Les Sept Laux (2184 m)
(The seven lakes). Depart from the Allemont river. It will take
2h30 to reach the Col, where the 3rd of the 7 lakes lies and
a further hour or more in order to reach the 7th lake. Mountain
goats can be found here.
Some family walks are also possible :
- The Village
Here you will be able to explore the traditional architecture,
visit the communal bread oven, the sun dial of Faures, windmills...
- Le Clot
Make a tour, depart from the church or from the road to St Jean.
- La Combe
You can make a tour, leaving from Banal des Faures.
