service. The service is available from 17/12/2005 to 30/04/2006.
Timetables are available from the Tourist
Office.

from 2-6 days) are on sale at the
Tourist Office in Allemont, where useful information is available
regarding ski areas, pistes, maps etc…
Remember to have an identity photo available for ski passes
of more than 2 days.

- Depart from Allemont, the Nordic
Ski site is situated in the plain of l'Oisans and
is ideal for all the family, 25 km of ski tracks or alternatively
you can ski skate, the paths cross through woods and forests,
without difficult downhills or hard climbs.
- At an altitude of 2000 meters, the Plateau
des Petite Rousses, where a tour can be made of the most
beautiful summits of l'Oisans and the Belledonne range, accessible
from the resorts of Oz and Vaujany by using the cable car.

Pleasurable pathways for both walking and use of snowshoes.
Routes are clearly marked, departures from Allemont, Oz and on the
ski slopes of the Alpe d'Huez.
Guides are available for snowshoe trips that do not follow the marked
routes.

At the Foyer de Ski de Fond you will be able to hire equipment
(nordic skis, snowshoes), get practical help and information, maps
of pistes and ski areas, and also passes which allow access to the
pistes and marked routes.

The daynurseries are situated in a safe location. The phone numbers
of the day nurseries of the Oz resort, (04.76.80.75.06) and
Vaujan resort ( 04.76.80.77.53). Children are welcomes from 6 months
old to 6 years old. |

schools
(Ecoles de ski Français)

The ski schools in
the resorts of Oz (04.76.80.74.93), and Vaujany (04.76.80.71.80),
and Villard Reculas (04.76.80.40.01) offer private tuition,
collective courses for all new beginners and a children's ski garden
between the ages of 4 and 6 years old.
